The Catholic community of Villa María saw its activity altered in the last few hours after it became known that two priests in the city had contracted Covid 19.
In this framework, it was decided to suspend masses and alert those who might have been in close contact with them, so that they take the corresponding sanitary measures.
One of the cases that became known is that of Sebastián Luna, a priest who works in the Nuestra Señora de Lourdes Parish, in the Florentino Ameghino neighborhood, and was infected with the virus. From the Facebook page of the establishment information that the masses scheduled for Saturday and Sunday were suspended.
Meanwhile, from the Villa María Trinitarian Community page -from the church of the Holy Trinity- the parish community was informed that Father Vidmar Maguiña also tested positive for Covid this Friday the 14th.
Therefore, people who were in contact with the priest with Covid were asked to take the corresponding measures. If they are considered close contacts, they should be swabbed to check if they are also infected.
