Press workers carried out a 24-hour strike this Thursday in Córdoba

The workers of the press in Córdoba began a 24-hour strike that will last this Thursday. It is in the framework of a joint meeting in which they request the journalistic companies to review the 36% agreed in August.

“There were two hearings where the employers did not present anything. In the last meeting they offered 9%, which would lead us to our salary reaching 45% per year,” said the secretary general of Cispren with discontent. Mariana Mandakovic, in dialogue with Another twist.

With this increase, the press salary would lose against all inflationary scenarios, placing it seven points below the 52% expected by the national government.

“We have been systematically losing purchasing power, it is a constant in the activity,” said the Secretary General.

At noon, the Cispren concentrated the claim in front of the headquarters of Canal 12 Córdoba.
