NLE Choppa re-tattooed the body with a tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle.
Since the untimely death of Los Angeles rapper and manager Nipsey Hussle in March 2019, rappers and athletes, including The Game, Dave East and JR Smith, have strived to pay homage during interviews, with musical lyrics and, most importantly, with tattoos. . Just over a week ago, Drake included a way to honor Nip in Certified Lover Boy on the track ‘7am in Bridle Path’.
Now, Memphis rapper NLE Choppa has debuted a tribute to Hussle, a portrait of the late rapper tattooed on his leg. NLE, who spoke openly recently about DaBaby, NFL vaccinations and her recent love of herbs and crystals, has always been someone who honored great rappers after their deaths. In June, after rapper and Dallas collaborator Lil Loaded passed away, Choppa paid a tribute on Twitter.
And in an Instagram post last November, he included photos of him and King Von, Pop Smoke, Juice WRLD, along with a solo photo of Hussle. The brands are part of hip-hop and Choppa, known for having tattoos all over his body, found space to transform this homage into something more permanent and special, suitable for someone like Nipsey Hussle who has maintained and still maintains his legendary status.
