Starting at 8:30 a.m. this Thursday, Yamilet Meraz closed the facilities of the Justice Center for Children and Adolescents to demand that two of her folders be prosecuted and have her three-year-old child returned.
Accompanied by a group of women, the mother of the family made graffiti in the facilities with legends of “return to Leonel”, “Justice”, “Yami, you are not alone”, to demand attention to their claims.
According to Yamilet, there are two folders that have not been prosecuted for retention and abduction of minors against her ex-partner. “There are already two birthdays that I have not spent with my little one,” said the young mother.
It will be the deputy prosecutor Francisco Ángeles Zapata who would attend to Meraz’s requests. However, Yamilet said that there is no confidence since it is not the first time that he has met with the official without results.
He recalled that it was October 24 when he also closed the facilities of the Deputy Prosecutor’s Office that was not attended by the owner.
