The PRO will take candidates without political experience to the City of Buenos Aires

The head of government of the City of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodriguez Larretaannounced the selection process “Open Lists” through which they seek to reach 2023 with lists that have been open and free. The objective is that all those residents of the City who have never participated in politics and wish to do so, run as candidates for legislators and community members. Applicants must apply through the website of the PRO in the city.

The promoter of the project participated in the activity Emmanuel Ferrario, first vice-president of the Legislature and deputy head of the Buenos Aires government; the government minister, Jorge Macri; the president of PRO CABA, Claudia Romeroand the Secretary General of PRO CABA, Juan Pablo Graña.

“The renewal of politics was always part of the essence of the PRO. From our origins, we have formed a space that brought together people who had never formally participated in politics but who had a commitment and vocation to transform reality in order to live better. Now, for the first time, the call is being opened en masse in the City to look for new voices who are our candidates in 2023 on the lists ofl PRO CABA”, he detailed Ferrario.

The selection process that seeks 200 new leaders, who next year will be trained in the School of Leaders of the PRO to select the 34 pre-candidates who “best represent the renewal of our space, the commitment to our ideals and the future of transformation in the City“.

The project, which is accompanied by posted posters that can already be seen throughout the City without a brand questioning the people of Buenos Aires with a “would you vote?”, was approached by Ferrario after holding meetings with the team of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the analysis of the experience of his party La República en Marcha (LREM), who opened their lists to civil society since the 2017 legislative elections.
