The Judiciary of Córdoba suffered a computer attack that affected its website, digital services and databases.
Sources close to the Judiciary affirmed that it could be “the worst attack on public institutions in history.”
According to the first versions, the systems would have been victims of a targeted attack with a variant of ransomware called .play, a program that copies and encrypts information. These viruses usually block access to information in exchange for a ransom. However, this attack would not have had as its objective a “data kidnapping” but rather a system wipe.
“They took their time and skipped different levels,” reliable sources explained.
