the Colombian pilot Tatiana Calderon, continues to make history in motorsports, after confirming that it will run on the legendary North American circuit of Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The ‘Cafetera’ runner will have action behind the wheel this Saturday at 2:30 in the afternoon, when she competes for the fourth prize on the championship calendar NTT IndyCar Series.
“The team has a lot of ideas to test so there’s a lot of work to do but I’m looking forward to getting back in the car and kicking off an exciting month.” expressed the Colombian runner.
Tatiana will set foot on the historic circuit for the first time in an official race, the same route where the Indianapolis 500 miles and where the main races of the nascar.

“Run in Indianapolis During the month of May, I think it will be something very special, especially since it will be my first time on that stage. We have been analyzing our performance in Barber and we know we need to find a way to generate more temperature in the tires so we will try to tackle those issues on a very different type of track, slower and more technical. The team has a lot of ideas to try, so there is a lot of work to do, but I am really looking forward to getting back on the bandwagon and starting a month that will be very exciting for me and the team.”indicated Tatiana Calderon before the race.

The 29-year-old pilot will be part of the team A. J. Foyt Racing to tackle one of the most difficult Grand Prix of the season. The race will have a total of 85 laps on the course that has almost 4 kilometers of travel in each lap.
At the moment, Tatiana Calderon occupies the 26th place in the general classification of the world championship of the NTT IndyCar with only 25 points, far from the 144 points that the leader of the competition has, Alex Palau.
