The Syrian Defense Ministry reported that Israeli fighters fired several shells about 8:30 p.m. local time. The ministry specified that its anti-aircraft defenses managed to shoot down most of the rockets. The Syrian authorities did not provide details of the identity of the fatalities.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) confirmed the Israeli action in a statement. The UK-based NGO claimed that the missiles they hit an ammunition warehouse and positions of the allied militias of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

From the OSDH, an organization that has a wide network of collaborators in the Syrian field, they added that missiles fired by Israel caused fires. A projectile from the Syrian anti-aircraft defenses would also cause an accident in an agricultural field in the Misyaf area.
