Supermodel Linda Evangelista says cosmetic procedure left her “deformed”

This was revealed this Thursday by who was one of the great supermodels of the 90s and who is 56 years old today, before his 900,000 followers on Instagram.

A cosmetic treatment she underwent five years ago increased rather than reduced her fat cells, a rare side effect, she explained.

In her post on Instagram, the star explained that she wanted to tell her story to the public to can go ahead with her life and let it be understood that she would sue the company that, according to her, is responsible.

The company Linda Evangelista claims to have come to for the cosmetic procedure has not yet responded to the BBC’s request for comment.

Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and stylist Karla Welch expressed their support with comments on Evangelista’s post, as did designers Jeremy Scott and Brandon Maxwell.

“Are and you will always be a supermodel, you now add (the) super role model of courage to your glorious résumé, ”Scott wrote, while Paltrow posted a red heart-shaped emoji.

“I have always recognized you as someone who was physically beautiful, yes, but the most important thing is that you really did shine from within … In your darkest moments, never forget the light with which you have illuminated so many of us and still continue to do so,” he wrote. Brandon Maxwell.

For her part, her model colleague Karen Elson showed her all her affection: “Sweet Linda. I love you very much, are very brave and marvelous”.
