Also, heavy rains are expected in Campeche, Puebla and Quintana Roo; very strong in Chihuahua, Hidalgo and Yucatán; strong in areas of Colima, Durango, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora and Tamaulipas; intervals of showers in regions of Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Morelos, Querétaro and Tlaxcala, as well as isolated rains in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Zacatecas. Along with the rains, there could be electric shocks, strong winds and hail..
These rainfall could generate landslides, increase in the levels of rivers and streams, overflows in high areas and floods in low areasfor which the population is urged to heed the warnings of the National Meteorological Service, the National Water Commission and follow the indications of the state, municipal and Civil Protection authorities.
Wind is expected with gusts of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour (km/h) and dust storms in Coahuila and Nuevo León; gusts of 50 to 60 km/h and waves of 1 to 3 meters (m) high on the coasts of Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Veracruz, and Yucatan, as well as gusts of 50 to 60 km/h in Aguascalientes, Jalisco and Guanajuato, Chihuahua, Durango, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas.
The meteorological conditions described above will be caused by the tropical depression “Celia”, which will move west-southwest, south of the coast of Oaxaca and will interact with a low pressure channel extended over the west and southwest of the Gulf of Mexico and with Tropical Wave Number 6, which will tour the Yucatan Peninsula, in addition to a second channel of low pressure over the northwest, north, west and center of the Mexican Republicin interaction with upper atmospheric instability and with the entry of moisture from both coasts.
For the afternoon, an anticyclonic circulation in the middle levels of the atmosphere will maintain a hot to very hot environment in entities in the northwest, north and northeast of the Mexican Republic, with maximum temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees Celsius in Baja California, Coahuila, Nuevo León , Sinaloa, Sonora and Tamaulipas.
Likewise, maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius are expected in Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Colima, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán and Nayaritand from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius in Aguascalientes, Campeche, Durango, Morelos, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Yucatán and Zacatecas.
Meanwhile, this morning, “Blas” weakened to a tropical depression, located 550 km southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h, gusts of 75 km/h and displacement towards the west at 7 km/h, the system has stopped affecting the national territory.

For the Valley of Mexico in the afternoon, cloudy skies with showers, electric shocks and hail fall are expected in Mexico City and the State of Mexico; north component wind from 10 to 25 km/h with gusts of up to 45 km/h, in Mexico City a minimum temperature of 11 to 13 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 23 to 25 degrees Celsius, and for Toluca, State of Mexico , a minimum temperature of 8 to 10 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 20 to 22 degrees Celsius is expected.
