He will not give voice tonight. Nikos Aliagas, host of The Voice for a decade, will miss the live semi-final meeting this Saturday. In a press release, TF1 announces that the emblematic face of the singing competition is “suffering” and that he cannot be present on the set. On the other hand, “he will be back next week for the final”, assures the chain.
The Voice without master of ceremonies, it is not possible. TF1 has therefore decided to call on Alessandra Sublet to replace him at short notice. The faithful of the chain will not be out of place since they spent their Friday evening with it during the final of Mask Singer. But soon, all this will be over since the host announced last month that she preferred to devote herself to her career as an actress.
New rules for the semi-final
That the fans of Alessandra Sublet be reassured, this is not the last time that the presenter will take the reins of a premium this season. On June 3, she will be at the helm of a new issue of the Great animator competition.
This Saturday evening, the ten singers still in contention in The Voice will try to win their ticket for the final. The rules have also changed this year: at the end of the evening, each of the coaches will keep only one of his candidates, chosen by the votes of the public. Next week, we will therefore find a talent in the team of Florent Pagny as well as in those of Amel Bent, Vianney and Marc Lavoine. Surprise: a fifth talent, drafted by Nolwenn Leroy, will join them! The five finalists will compete for the ultimate title of “most beautiful voice in France” live next week.
