From June 22 to 24, the Government of Mexico will deliver a total of 3,400 Banco del Bienestar cards to all those people who registered for the Pension for the Well-being of Older Adults last April and who were scheduled in the old Political and Social Sciences building located on Revolution Boulevard in Torreón.
People who have been notified and who for some reason cannot attend during these days, can go to the Integration Center located on Hermenegildo Galeana street in the Federal Palace, ground floor. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The delegate of Welfare Programs in Coahuila, Reyes Flores Hurtado reported that more than 14,000 cards are scheduled to be distributed in the state with the purpose of gradually eliminating payment operations.
He indicated that the intention is that the beneficiaries of federal social programs can access a bank card with which they can collect the resource at any time at an ATM or even have the money at any shopping center.
Remember that people who joined before April and whose process has been successful, will be receiving a phone call from the Secretary of Welfare to give them the date, time and place to pick up their card. “The beneficiaries are being quoted directly by message, call or even home visit so that there is order in the appointment process and there are no conglomerations at the delivery points,” said the federal official.
In the case of the Comarca Lagunera, it was reported that in addition to the old Political Science building, other delivery points are located in the Rodolfo Ayup courts, located on Independencia Avenue, in the downtown area of the Matamoros municipality. Also in the auditorium of the ejido San Antonio del Coyote.
In Parras de la Fuente the delivery point is on Ramos Arizpe street in the downtown area, while in Viesca it is in the downtown area. Another point is located in the ejido hall of the Juan Eugenio ejido in Torreón.
