The center of the eye of Category 2 hurricane “Olaf” made landfall at 10:00 p.m., near San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur.

Through social networks, Conagua reported that the phenomenon is located 35 kilometers east-northeast of Cabo San Lucas. It presents maximum sustained winds of 155 km / h, gusts of 195 km / h and displacement towards the north-northwest at 17 km / h.

In addition, its cloud bands produce torrential rains in Baja California Sur, very strong in Sinaloa and Nayarit; strong in Jalisco and showers in Colima, Durango and Zacatecas.
The National Civil Protection Coordination (CNPC) issued a red alert and maximum danger in the center and south of the entity.
The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) activated protocols for patient safety.
