Guadalajara police arrested a man who allegedly physically assaulted a woman and had her locked up.
The agency reported that it received a report on a woman asking for help Avenida 8 de Julio at the height of Cardenal, in Colonia Morelos.
It was detailed that elements of the corporation went to the place saw a woman with an injured left hand asking for help through a broken window.
“The 48-year-old victim was saying she was locked in and wanted to get out, and officers observed a male physically assaulting her so they entered.”
The police officers detained the man and seized a knife from him. The Police Station requested the support of the Specialized Division for Attention to Gender-Based Violence against Women (DEAViM).
The detainee identified himself as J.Osé Gilberto “N”, 39 years old and was brought before the Public Ministry.
