The secretary of Ukraine’s National Security Council, Oleksiy Danilov, has described Vienna as a safe haven for Russian agents. “Vienna has become another capital where Russian agents are hiding. It’s swarming with them. It’s a historical development,” Danilov told online newspaper Liga.net, Ukraine’s Ukrinform news agency reported on Saturday.
The secretary of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Council (RNBO) also hinted that the pro-Russian Ukrainian politician Yevgeny Murayev could have fled to Vienna or Moscow.
Murayev is the leader of the Nashi (“Ours”) party, which failed to pass the five percent hurdle in the 2019 parliamentary elections. A few days ago, an appeals court in Lviv (Lemberg) decided to ban the activities of the Nashi party. The judgment can be appealed to the Supreme Court. (APA)
