The 14-year-old girl, also the daughter of Mark Anthony, took the stage at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala to sing a duet with his mother. A moving performance in which she shone again and showed that the talent for music runs through her blood.
It was during the Blue Diamond Gala of the Dodgers that the Diva from the Bronx was commissioned to offer a brilliant explosive show with many choreographies and loaded with musical successes. But during the show there was also a moment for emotion and that was in charge of Emme, daughter of JLo and Marc Anthony, who already left the world amazed in the Super Bowl 2020 when he sang at halftime.
More than two years after that moment, Emme was back on stage with her mother and shone with her talented voice.
“The last time we sang together it was a huge stadium like this, and I ask them to sing with me all the time, but they don’t want to, so this is a very special occasion,” said the New Yorker to introduce her daughter to the stage. She also said that she is the best duet partner of hers.
The teenager appeared on stage dressed in a pink ensemble and singing “A Thousand Years”, an original song by Christina Perri. And almost at the end of her interpretation they melted into a warm hug.
On the same stage they also revived Emme’s performance at the Super Bowl when he sang a remix of “Let’s Get Loud” with Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA.”
