Elections: the international organizations that will oversee – Electoral News – Elections 2022

Medellín is preparing for the second round of the 2022 presidential elections that will take place next Sunday, June 19.

Germany, Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and the Republic The Dominican Republic are some of the countries of origin of the groups that will ensure democratic guarantees in the elections next Sunday.

These organizations will be grouped into eight international missions, four of which are technical. This means that they are made up of specialists in technology, informatics and electoral processes, according to what was reported by the Electoral Organization. Among these are those of the OASthe European Unionthe Carter Center Y Election Transparency.
