New Titanfall? Respawn works on a new stylish and mobile-focused game

The new shooter is still in the prototype stage and shouldn’t be released before 2024

One of Electronic Arts’ main studios in the updated, Respawn Entertainment is working on several projects ranging from support Battlefield 2042 updates up to Star Wars: Fallen Order sequel. However, it seems that there is room in the studio for the development of a new FPS, which promises mixing “stylish” elements with a strong focus on mobility.

According to information released by GamesBeat, these are the elements that guide the new project – which, unfortunately for fans, It shouldn’t be a new Titanfall. Despite taking a first-person perspective like other shooters, the title should not bring multiplayer elements, focusing on a story driven single player campaign.

The mystery game had its development guided by creative director Mohammad Alavi, who announced his departure from Respawn Entertainment on January 10th. According to sources heard by the site, the developer decided to continue investing in the project even after this important member left, and believes that a launch could happen in 2024 Where 2025.

While it’s still not being treated with the same attention as other developer projects like Apex Legends and Jedi Fallen Order 2, the new FPS promises to bring a treatment worthy of a triple A. The studio’s next big release should be Jedi Fallen Order 2, which could be revealed even before E3 2022 starts and release by 2023.
