More than 100,000 children between the ages of 3 and 11 received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday, in what was the first day of immunization for that age group, within the framework of the National Vaccination Plan carried out by the Government throughout the Argentine territory, in coordination with the provinces.
“A big smile and a bigger thank you to their families. We move on, write them down: you take care of them, we take care of ourselves,” Health Minister Carla Vizzotti published this Wednesday on her account on the social network Twitter. What’s more, celebrated that “more than 100,000 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11 were vaccinated yesterday on the first day,” destined for that age group.
“How great the boys! More than 106,000 of our children were vaccinated in the first 24 hours!”, Vizzotti highlighted on Twitter.
Within the framework of the Strategic Plan for immunization against Covid-19, the Government distributed 2,006,300 doses of Sinopharm vaccine and there are 9 million doses in stock, exclusively destined to guarantee pediatric vaccination.
