Machine Gun Kelly details the meaning behind the engagement ring as Kim Kardashian offers her congratulations
They’ve been inseparable since revealing their surprising romance, and after dating for just over a year, Machine Gun Kelly knelt down and asked for the hand of Megan Fox in married. The pop culture conversation today is the new engagement between the two that apparently took place on January 11th. Fox e Kelly have traveled the world showing their love for one another, from necklaces with vials of blood to being held together by chained nails.
Kelly showed a close-up of the engagement ring he chose for his bride-to-be and explained why he decided on this custom look. “I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (your birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) placed on two magnetic bands that come together like two halves to form a ring. the dark heart that is our love,” he wrote.
Fox shared a video of the proposal and added: “Somehow, a year and a half later, having gone through hell together and laughing more than I ever thought possible, he asked me to marry him. And as in all lives before that one, and as in all lives to come, I said yes.” Kim Kardashian offered her congratulatory message as she has been spending quite a bit of time with the couple considering that Machine Gun Kelly is Pete Davidson’s best friend.
The couple has appeared on social media several times for their antics. The last one was when Kelly revealed that she accidentally stabbed herself to impress Megan Fox. The 31-year-old artist explained that he was trying to do a trick with a knife Travis Barker gave him. After being asked by Fallon to reveal how he suffered an injury prior to his recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, an injury that Pete Davidson made public, Kelly detailed a crazy night he had when he first met Fox.
He revealed that he slid down a banister with a spike at the bottom and eventually stabbed himself. “Travis [Barker] gave me this… he gave me a knife that had an engraving (sic) of his new album,” he said. “And I was like, ‘Oh, look at that. This is sick.’
