López Obrador tests positive for COVID-19 for the second time; have mild symptoms

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced that he was infected with COVID-19 again.

Through social networks, he stated that his symptoms are mild and will remain in isolation, doing office work and communicating virtually.

The Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, will represent him at the press conference and other events.

This morning, López Obrador took a test this Monday, January 10 after appearing flu-like in his usual press conference everyday.

It was also in January of the previous year (2021) that the Mexican president was diagnosed for the first time with COVID-19, being under treatment for several days.

At the beginning of December, the head of state, who had his complete scheme, received a booster dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
