Paderborn’s keeper Leopold Zingerle will not be available to runner-up for several weeks.
Paderborn’s goalkeeper Leopold Zingerle broke his finger.
Zingerle injured his right hand during training at SC Paderborn on Monday. An X-ray examination now brought the diagnosis that the keeper had broken his little finger. It is not yet possible to say exactly how long Zingerle will be out, but the club is assuming “several weeks”.
The 27-year-old was the SCP’s regular goalkeeper last season and is now number two behind Jannik Huth in the East Westphalia region.
On Sunday, Paderborn is visiting the bottom of the table, FC Erzgebirge Aue (1.30 p.m., LIVE! At kicker) and wants to defend at least second place.
