The Minister of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens, indicated that “by the end of the year there would be full stadiums in Argentine football” and that “in 2022 tests would be carried out for the return of the visiting public.”
“We estimate that by the end of the year there could be full capacity for Argentine soccer stadiums”, Lammens said during an interview on the channel A24.
“And for next year it is planned to carry out tests with visiting fans in the stadiums”, the minister expanded.
Regarding this last issue, he remarked that “Obviously the lack of visiting fans did not solve the problem of violence, because there are still clashes between bars from the same club.”
“And it is not possible that we cannot live with those who think differently. I have been going to the field since I was a child and there were always fans in the front stand, but I did not want to hold on to pineapples with them,” the former president of San Lorenzo de Almagro.
