Several projects will be carried out in 2022 by the municipality of The Chartre-sur-le-Loir (Sarthe), led by Mayor Michel Dutheil.

Sanitation

Parking

Street Châtillon, always, work to create a thirty places parking will be carried out at the end of the year. They will be materialized on the land opposite the Chez Simone store.

Of these thirty places, two will be charging stations for electric vehicles. There will also be a bicycle shelter with a battery recharging station.

Road safety

Two speed bumps will be installed near the Super U and avenue des deportés, towards the village hall.

“It’s a straight line where the cars go quite fast. The goal is to slow down these vehicles, as well as those arriving from Ruillé, ”comments the mayor.

Cycle path

By the month of June, the greenway that will connect Montval to Bessé-sur-Braye will be finalized at La Chartre.

The municipality intends to take advantage of this windfall to make it possible to have a cycle track connecting the green way to the city center while passing by the college.

“There is a good chance that this project will begin before the end of the year thanks to the Small Towns of Tomorrow program”.
