Jafari and MC Caveirinha are the first to represent the new case of Aldeia Records
Jafari e MC Caverinha released, this Friday (10), the song “Vila Freestyle”. The single is named after the new project from village records, which arrives with the proposal to unite artists from the periphery to portray the experiences of their quebradas. The work is already available on all digital platforms: “This song is a good illustration of Vila Freestyle’s idea, which is why it bears the same name as the project. In the lyrics, I talk about what it is like to live in the village, what we heard, what we went through. The code of respect that exists in the quebrada and how everyone in the community respects each other despite the reality being fucked*”, he explains Jafari.
With beat/production by Greezy, mixing and mastering by Ecologyk, “Vila Freestyle” was also recorded in Barueri. The video is directed by Giovani Zanardi and is available on the Aldeia Records channel. Aldeia Records is one of the arms of Batalha da Aldeia, the biggest rhyming battle in Brazil in terms of digital presence, with more than 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube alone.
The label works with the MCs Alva, Andrade, Bob13, Jafari e Mikezin, in addition to producer Greezy. For 2021, new releases are already planned.
It is worth remembering that in June, BDA also debuted Aldeia Cast. In less than two months, the podcast has already reached thousands of people. Guests like Kant, Jessikinha, Thiago, Kawe, Spinard, MC Lan, Choice, BMO, Pelé Milflows have already been there. For sure, Vila Freestyle comes to follow the company’s line of success stories.
