It’s official: Talleres announced Ángel Hoyos as the new DT

Ängel Guillermo Hoyos is the new Technical Director of Workshops. The Club Talleres Board of Directors informed that “he is the person selected to lead the new Technical Team of the Albiazul Superior Campus”.

Hoyos was born in Córdoba, he is 58 years old and has great experience as a technical director.

He began his career in the second team of Barcelona in Spain and after almost 20 years of experience, he will be in charge of commanding the Albiazul first team that this year will face triple competition: the Professional League Cup, the Argentine Cup and the Conmebol Libertadores Cup.

Hoyos’ first steps in the world of football were wearing the Albiazul shirt where he stood out as a midfielder with 171 games played and 30 goals.

As Technical Director, Hoyos had an extensive career managing different foreign soccer teams.

In 2011 he became champion of the Bolivian League together with Club Bolívar, while in 2017 he was crowned with the University of Chile.

“The criteria for this selection are based on their professional training, human qualities, knowledge of Argentine football, commitment to educational development, work capacity, leadership style and their identification and commitment to the Club,” they said.

The brand new coach Albiazul signed a contract until December 2022 and is already integrated into the pre-season work.
