Apple has made the presentation of its phones in September of each year. However, the complexities of 2020 – such as the restrictions of COVID-19 and the shortage of chips – forced to delay in an unprecedented way the presentation of the iPhone 12 to October 2020.
By 2021, everything seems to have returned to normal. Or at least in part. For the presentation of the iPhone 13, the company headed by Tim Cook will repeat the virtual format that has become the standard of most technological events since the beginning of the pandemic.

Although the new iPhone 13 series will be the highlight of the day, there could also be news in terms of AirPods Pro headphones, Apple Watch Series 7 watches and, eventually, new iPad tablet models.
Apparently, Apple will repeat the line of the iPhone 12 with the new model. In this way, we can expect an iPhone 13 Pro, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, an iPhone 13 and an iPhone 13 Mini.
Although in terms of design it would not offer major changes compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 13 would come with a smaller notch for the Face ID module, which would optimize its performance when using masks.
Nor would there be major adjustments in terms of cameras, although the ultra-wide lens would come with an update in the autofocus and Cinematic Video technology, which would be the equivalent of video for the portrait mode of photographs.
If in 2020 the company finally included OLED technology for iPhone screens, the novelty for 2021 would be an upgrade upgrade from 60 Hz to 120 Hz, at least in the two most powerful models, the Pro and the Pro Max.
The iPhone 13 line will likely come equipped with a new Apple A15 chip, which would keep the 5nm process. In addition, all phones would receive significant improvements in the capacity of their batteries, highlighting the 4,352 mAh of the Pro Max.
The Apple Watch Series 7 could be another of the novelties of the Apple event. The size of the case may be increased from the 40 and 44 millimeters that the Series 6 had to 41 and 45 millimeters, respectively.
Unlike its predecessors, it would also have a flat body, with a shape reminiscent of the iPhone 12, which would be accompanied by the introduction of a 1.8 or 1.9-inch (396 x 484 pixels) screen with thinner bezels.
While the digital crown and side button would retain their positions on the case, the button could no longer be physical and be transformed into a touch-sensitive one with haptic feedback technology.
One of the more recent rumors is that the Apple Watch 7 straps would not be compatible with previous models, which was spurred with the sale of stocks of the oldest moorings. However, there is no certainty that there will be changes to the restraint system that Apple has kept unchanged for seven years.
During the event, the arrival of an improved set of AirPods is also expected. The new headphones would arrive with a design that would more closely resemble the AirPods Pro than the conventional models, in addition to a smaller and more compact casing.
Another novelty would be the premiere of two tablets: a redesigned iPad Mini 6 and a thinner and lighter traditional iPad. Both would arrive with A15 chips, in addition to USB-C type connectors. Today’s iPads are powered by the A12 Bionic chip, so this is a major leap in terms of power.
The iPad mini 6 would have a larger screen than the previous model’s 7.9 inches. Some versions assure that it will be 8.3 inches, while others even place it at 9.
