The game

Already qualified for the next stage of the 2022 São Paulo Junior Football Cup, Internacional came to the field with an alternative formation and, even so, was the owner of the first half. Managing to impose their style of play from the start, the Gauchos did not take long to open 1-0.

In the 13th minute, after a corner kick, João Félix rose more than the defense and tested firmly to make it 1-0. Even with the lead on the scoreboard, Inter didn’t take it off and doubled the advantage. In the 29th minute, after a free kick in the area, Samuel headed it and made it 2 to 0. With the good difference in the score, the Porto Alegre team started to control the duel and went into the break with the advantage.

In the second half, the game started much slower. Without the two teams developing offensive moves, the score and the game remained still until shortly after the middle of the second half. In this way, the first dangerous move happened only at 24 minutes. At that moment, Vitinho exchanged passes with Rangel, had luck and took advantage of the leftovers in the area to shoot for the goal and make it 3 to 0.

After Inter’s third goal, the game was stopped again and both teams waited for the final whistle. In this way, the team from Rio Grande do Sul ended the first phase of Copinha with 100% success and União Mogi was eliminated.
