To be able to go to his general practitioner, then his nurse and make an appointment with his physiotherapist, all this in the same place, such is the project of the health professionals of Bosc-le-Hard (Seine-Maritime).

For a little over a year, they have been working on the realization of a health house in the town.

Offer a common place

For several years, nursing homes have been developing in the countryside.

Indeed, they have the advantage of bringing together different medical offers, thus allowing patients to have to go to a single place, and no longer to run to the four corners of the city or the territory. A practical aspect for patients, but also for practitioners.

“Our goal is to offer patients a common place where they can find various health professionals. And for us, this will allow us to work in a multidisciplinary way and subsequently to be able to build health projects together. “

15 health professionals gathered

While the project is still in its early stages, it is starting to materialize. “We are currently in the process of drawing up the plans,” reveals Eve Condoret.

And the creation of this health center is supported by the municipality. Indeed, “very enthusiastic about this project, it offers us the land on which the premises will be built. Which is a significant help, ”she admits.

Located near the Saint-Jean Autonomous Residence, it will be possible to find “four general practitioners, seven nurses, a physiotherapist, a chiropodist, an osteopath and a dietitian”, explains the doctor.

So 15 health professionals will be present in the same place.

And the offer could well evolve in the months following the opening.

“We are considering expanding the healthcare offer and involving other health professionals in this project. “

Orthoptists or speech therapists could come and settle in the new nursing home.

In addition, the general practitioner wishes to specify : “Our goal is not to be redundant in the healthcare offer that we are going to offer. For this, we will work with the other health centers in the sector ”.

This new structure should see the light of day by 2024, if all goes well.
