I am: international great battles continues to thrill its millions of viewers with showdowns between domestic and foreign impersonators. In order to bring out their talent, great artists came to Peru to challenge the established Latina program; however, not all were able to convince the jury. Here we tell you who it is.
‘Mon Laferte’ – Oriana Montero (Venezuela)
On January 11, the Venezuelan Oriana Montero, who characterizes Mon Laferte, appeared in the imitation reality show and challenged Sebastián Landa (‘José Feliciano’), one of the great favorites. The participants faced each other three times and finally a tiebreaker was finalized in favor of Landa.
‘Fito Paez’ – Agustin Britos (Uruguay)
Likewise, the Uruguayan Agustín Britos (‘Fito Páez’) risked his fate in Yo soy: gran international battles when he faced the Gloria Trevi impersonator at the end of November. After both presentations, the jury determined that the imitation of Páez was not yet consistent, so it decided to give the opponent the same as the winner.

‘Alejandro Sanz’ – Cristian Diaz (Chile)
Another of the outstanding foreign imitators who surprised with his talent, although he did not stay in competition, was Cristian Díaz (‘Alejandro Sanz’), a native of Chile. For his participation, the artist challenged the Argentine Sebastián Molina (‘Ricardo Arjona’).
‘Nicky Jam’ – David Alsina (Colombia)
David Alsina (‘Nicky Jam’), winner of My name is Colombia, attended the set of I am and starred in a close versus against Ozuna’s ‘double’ despite the fact that he did not manage to enter the consecrated rostrum.
‘Laura Pausini’ – Marian Diaz (Venezuela)
The Venezuelan Marian Díaz fought in the Latina program by characterizing Laura Pausini to try to snatch the chair of consecrated Vicente Fernández’s ‘double’.

‘Shakira’ – Fernanda Manriquez (Chile)
Finally we have Fernanda Manríquez, the ‘Chilean Shakira’ who came ready to surprise the jury and thus beat ‘Makuko’. However, she did not have an outstanding participation, so she was unable to beat her opponent.
