Coronavirus in Chaco: active cases continue to decline throughout the province

The Ministry of Public Health of Chaco reports that, with 87 new infections in the last 24 hours, until this Wednesday 8, 99,503 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been registered in the province, of which 96,435 people have already been discharged and 828 cases remain active.

In addition, 2,240 people have already died with the diagnosis of this disease and the deaths registered in the last hours correspond to: a 77-year-old man from Villa Angela (whose date of death is 7/10); a 35-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman from Resistencia; a 65-year-old woman from Santa Sylvina and an 86-year-old woman from Makallé.

On the other hand, of the 828 cases of coronavirus that remain active, 759 are patients with mild symptoms, 51 are moderate and 18 people are in serious condition, admitted to intensive care units.

Vaccination Campaign

Since December 29, 2020, the Chaco Ministry of Public Health has applied a total of 1,148,340 doses of the different vaccines against the coronavirus (Sputnik V, Covishield / AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Moderna) throughout the provincial territory; of which 725,956 correspond to first doses and 422,384 to second doses.
