The Luis Güemes Hospital provides medical care to some 20,000 inhabitants in Aguaray, there, and Minister of Public Health, Juan José Esteban, put into office to the management team, headed by Fernando Aguirre, Biochemist by profession and who has been working in Public Health for 19 years, as reported by the provincial government.
On this occasion, they also assumed Valeria Taboada, as manager of Attention to People; and Rosana Arce, in the position of Administrative Manager.
Esteban stated that Aguirre “He is an outstanding professional who, together with the team that accompanies him in his management, He is very committed to continuing to strengthen the provision of health services in the hospital ”.
Aguirre commented that being in the management of a hospital is a great challenge for continue to improve services for health users. “We will reorganize the human resource and we will work actively in the planning of new works for the entire Aguaray operating area,” he said.
For his part, the municipal mayor, Guillermo Alemán, assured that they will have a political-health partnership for the strengthening of the hospital and the improvement of health services for their citizens.
The hospital “Dr. Luis Güemes ”, has services of Medical Clinic, Guard, Family Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Dentistry, Radiology and Primary Health Care (PHC), in addition to two hospital rooms, occupied by 21 beds, and another for COVID patients, equipped with four beds.
