The Villacero Group demanded that Altos Hornos de México comply with the agreement signed by Alonso Ancira Elizondo, to sell 51 percent of the shares of the Monclova steel company to Julio Villarreal’s company.

Francisco Muñoz, legal representative of the Group company, also owner of Banca Afirme, rejected previous statements by AHMSA’s director of social communication, Francisco Orduña Mangiola, who maintained that there is no legal commitment of the Monclova steel company or Alonso Ancira with Villacero to sell shares of the Coahuila metallurgical industry.
