Young Sheldon switches between free TV and pay TV premieres so often that it can make you dizzy. In December, the fifth season comes to ProSieben, where the German premiere will be taken over.

On Monday, December 13th at 8:15 p.m., the fifth season of Young Sheldon comes to ProSieben, where the free TV and German premiere will be celebrated at the same time. There is a new episode per week followed by a repeat on Comedy Monday. You can also follow the The Big Bang Theory prequel about the young Sheldon on ProSieben Fun or Amazon Prime Video. In the USA, the season only started in October, which is why a split is to be expected as always.

In the first episode, Palpitations and Remorse, Sheldon (Iain Armitage) and Missy (Raegan Revord) run away from home, and Mary (Zoe Perry) receives disturbing news of George Sr. (Lance Barber). A week later, the episode Snoopin ‘Around and the Wonder Twins of Atheism airs. In it, Sheldon encourages Missy to question the Bible, Meemaw (Annie Potts) wants to catch George Sr. in a lie, and Mary helps Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby) find a young pastor.

In the new season there is also the appearance of a “TBBT“-Colleagues. You can find spoilers for this with a click.

The future of The Big Bang Theory prequel is currently secured up to the seventh season, because comedy is still one of the strongest series formats at broadcaster CBS.

You can join the Young Sheldon series right now Amazon Prime Video, Joyn PLUS+, iTunes, Apple TV or Magenta TV stream.
