After five sessions frustrated due to lack of quorum, The Chaco Chamber of Deputies approved this Wednesday the law by which seven properties of green spaces of the Province are transferred to the Municipality of Resistencia.
The properties transferred are the Federal Tire Urban Park, Argüello-San Expedito Lagoon, Autodrome Park, Democracy and Youth Park, Caraguatá Park, the South Walk and the National Sovereignty Channel.
The rule was approved by a simple majority, with 16 votes in favor and seven against, while Luis Obeid abstained from voting.
With the presence of the justicialist deputy María Elena Vargas, the ruling party reached the 17 legislators in the room, and reached the necessary quorum to hold sessions.
These green spaces or areas to be transferred are part of the Green Areas reservation system of the city of Resistencia, where the Municipality is ultimately responsible for the use, the necessary works for such destination, the maintenance and preservation of the activities and services, as well as their maintenance.
