Fashion moment: Rouje unveils her first upcycled dress

Known by fashionistas for its perfect cuts, its clothes with retro prints and beautiful materials, its silhouettes mixing femininity and masculine touches, the Rouje label has met with dazzling success since its launch in April 2016. Created by Parisian Jeanne Damas, cover girl of ELLE last July, Rouje’s aesthetic is a concentrate of the personal style that made the it-girl famous. Each drop is expected like the Messiah by fashion addicts, and there is no doubt that this new collection entitled “Bonjour Paris” will surprise them once again. Indeed, the newly launched capsule is made up of lingerie and loungewear pieces: lace bodysuits and sets in soft colors, retro floral print panties, romantic shirts and shorts, satin camisoles, but also very soft sweaters and cardigans in which we have already want to curl up. But the big novelty is on the “Diane” dress.

A social and eco-responsible commitment

Among the new capsule, the “Diane” model stands out. This slip-style dress, a model presented for the first time during the SS21 collection, is available this time in an ecru floral satin. Made in a family-owned and audited European factory and using dormant fabric stocks from previous collections, this dress is the first upcycled piece made by the brand, but certainly not the last. Rouje is indeed committed to creating an upcycled model in each drop making up the 7 chapters of its summer 2022 collection. Through the “Rouje for All” approach, the profits from each of these upcycled pieces will be donated entirely to La Maison des femmes of Saint-Denis, a place of care that cares for and provides social and legal support for women in difficulty and/or victims of domestic violence. Already in 2020, Rouje unveiled a collection created for La Maison des femmes de Saint-Denis, through a collaboration with the artist Nina Koltchtskaia. Rouje goes up a notch this time and once again proves its social and now eco-responsible commitment, through a delicate and romantic collection. Hat !
