the release date of the exclusive Playstation becomes clearer following these leaks

If the period is rather calm at the moment for the players, the end of the year and the year 2023 promise to be much richer in interesting releases. Among these, that of Playstation exclusive God of War: Ragnarok, whose output window would have leaked by mistake !

A Playstation exclusion eagerly awaited by players

The start of 2022 has been an emotional time for players, with the release of many big games highly anticipated and above all of very good quality. Obviously, the title that has most marked this first half of the year is undoubtedly the excellent Elden Ringdeveloped by From Software studio. But on the side of Playstation, the players are not to be pitied: Between Horizon: Forbidden West et Gran Turismo 7 (and its controversies), the exclusives of the manufacturer regaled.

But as often before the summer, we are in a downturn or only a few announcements like that of the sequel to the remake of Final Fantasy VII come to tickle our curiosity. Well rest assured, Sony’s most anticipated console exclusive, God of War: Ragnarokmay well land sooner than expected. To be more precise, we could put our hands on it as early as October! Or November? Explanations.

God of War: ragnarok in October or November?

If the original trilogy of god of war, already exclusive to Sony, met with great success among Hack’n Slash enthusiasts, you would never have thought that the Santa Monica studios would manage to make the 2018 episode such a phenomenon. From the frantic fighting game, we moved on to a much more narrative third-person title, strongly inspired by Naughty Dog productions (Uncharted, The Last of Us). Logical, therefore, that its sequel is eagerly awaited. And if we know that it will not take long to arrive, no precise release date has been communicated, so that we do not even know for sure if the title will land by the end of the year or in 2023 .

Finally, we still have a small idea since the website Blackfire.eu recently uploaded some merchandising – more specifically a t-shirt – bearing the image of God of War: Ragnarok, as noticed a user of Reddit. She more interesting is that this one was accompanied by a release date indicating “October 2022”, which would mean that we would only have about four months to wait: it is indeed rare that promotional items for a game are put on sale long before its release. If that doesn’t prove anything, it is still surprising to note that the page has since been deleted, as if compromising information were revealed there.

Note, however, that this page also indicated that this output window was subject to change. If that were the case, so maybe we should expect a November release, since the always very well informed Jason Schreier, journalist at Bloomberghas recently published an article in which he mentioned this possibility. One thing is sure, we can’t wait to get our hands on God of War: Ragnarokwhich will be released exclusively on PS4 and PS5!
