The couple took part in “Windrush Day”. Since 2018, in the United Kingdom, the country has been celebrating Caribbean immigration to the territory in the aftermath of the Second World War. For many years, the Caribbean people have indeed participated in the reconstruction of the country. A gesture today honored by a statue at Waterloo station. The parents of George, Charlotte and Louis thus inaugurated the creation of the Jamaican sculptor Basil Watson. Kate Middleton and Prince William also met with several members of the Caribbean community, including children. The opportunity for the Duchess to demonstrate once again that she was fully in her element.
For this occasion, Prince William’s wife wore a white trouser suit by Alexander McQueen. An outfit she had already worn during the couple’s trip to the Caribbean last March.
