Fans Question Why Balenciaga Isn’t Canceled Like Kanye West And Kyrie Irving

Balenciaga caused quite a stir after unveiling its new campaign.

They may have apologized for their last campaign, but Balenciaga still feels the wrath of the public. The famous fashion brand has been under a microscope as the ongoing controversy with Kanye West move forward. However, the company came under fire after footage from its now-deleted campaign went viral. The photos show several children holding or posing with teddy bears, and it looks quite innocent.

However, the toys are dressed in bondage and sadomasochism clothes. Several advertisements also show the children nearby standing on the beds. It was reported that in one photo were seen court documents from a child sexual abuse case. Once the campaign went viral, the company came back with apologies. They say they stand vehemently against child abuse “in any form” and threaten legal action.

“We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused. Our plush toys should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.”

Somewhere else, Balenciaga added, “We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items for our Spring 23 campaign photo shoot.”

Still, the public is relentless. the names of Kanye West and Kyrie Irving were mentioned in conversations on social networks. People question why the two men saw a bout of suspensions or failed trades while the Balenciaga suffers no consequences.

Furthermore, it seems that Balenciaga is moving away from the scandal. The company has already exited Twitter following the acquisition of Elon Musk and, on Instagram, they cleaned up their profile. However, that hasn’t stopped critics from sharing scathing opinions on social media platforms, as the company is accused of babysitting and promoting child sexual abuse.
