The Paraná Fire Department released images of a rescue carried out in the Nereidas bathhouse, in Guaratuba, when three bathers were rescued. As they were in a lane protected by lifeguards, help was quick and everyone was unharmed.
The rescue took place on January 1st, but the images were released this Friday (14th) by the corporation. In the video it is possible to see that the lifeguards approach to warn the bathers, who were moving away from the coast, it was when they noticed the difficulty of breathing and started the rescue.
Surfers who were on the side helped in the rescue and removal of bathers from the water. Watch the video posted on the Fire Department’s social media.
