COLIMA.- The Department of Public Security (SSP) of the state of Colima reported the murder of Roman Buenrostro Campos, director of Social Reinsertion Center (Cereso), and his escort.
The authorities also indicated that in the attack was injured the Buenrostro’s wife.
The events occurred within a home located in the Quartz and Lapis Lazuli streets from the colony Villa Flores 2 in the town Villa de Alvarez.

One of the attackers died
As reported Millennium, the attack took place shortly after midnight when several armed men entered the house and they shot at those present to later escape, however, one of the criminals approximately 20 years old died at the scene.
For its part, State Police launched a search operation to try to locate the responsible for the attack on Buenrostro and his escort.
Jose Ignacio Peralta, governor of Colima, condemned the murder against the official and ordered the Secretary of Public Security (SSP) to work together with the State Attorney General’s Office and
locate the aggressors to be arrested.
