DFB bans FCK professionals Redondo and Senger for two games each

1. FC Kaiserslautern finished the south-west derby against Waldhof Mannheim (0-0) with nine of them. Now the Red Devils know the penalty for the two red sinners.

Both Kenny Prince Redondo and Marvin Senger were sent off in the first section of the passionately fought points division with Mannheim. Redondo saw the red card from referee Florian Heft in the 25th minute after a duel with Saghiri on the sideline for a “raw game”. Senger followed his teammate into the FCK cabin in the 41st minute, he had rudely stopped Lebeau as the last defender and was also suspended for two games by the DFB sports court for “unsportsmanlike conduct”.

In both cases, the Red Devils approved the judgment, which is therefore final. Redondo and Senger are missing in the league games at SC Verl and against VfL Osnabrück.

The performance of the referee (kicker rating 5.5) had angered the people of Palatinate, and coach Marco Antwerp even left them “speechless”. In particular, he had no understanding for the first red card against Redondo (“You don’t even have to think about yellow”).
