Daddy Yankee does not stop adding recognitions. Next up: the Billboard Hall of Fame Award. An award that he will receive on September 23 at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards for his decades-long career and influence as a global artist.
In this way the interpreter of “Gasolina” or “Despacito” joins the select list of artists who have won this award and which includes José José, Vicente Fernández, Rocío Durcal, Marco Antonio Solís, Mongo Santamaría, El Gran Combo from Puerto Rico, Banda El Recodo, Joan Sebastian, Marc Anthony, Franco de Vita and Alejandro Fernández.

This Wednesday the magazine Billboard unveiled the new cover for this month’s issue starring the Big Boss. A cover that came in the company of an interview conducted by Leila Cobo in which the Puerto Rican artist reviews his history as a pioneer of reggaeton.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will be held on September 23 at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables (Miami), but also, during the rest of the week in the city of the Sun there will be conversations and live performances by other superstars such as Karol G.
