Coronavirus: the Chaco added 15 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 15 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed this Wednesday, October 13 in the Chaco, where the number of people infected since the start of the pandemic amounted to 100,355, as officially reported by the Ministry of Health of the Nation.

Secondly, the national health portfolio did not report any death from covid-19 in the Chaco.

ARGENTINA RECORDED 1,314 NEW CASES AND 35 OTHER DEATHS

The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported that this Wednesday, October 13, 35 deaths and 1,314 new coronavirus infections were registered in Argentina.

With these data, the total number of infected people rose to 5,268,653 since the pandemic began, while there are already 115,547 deaths.

On the other hand, the health portfolio pointed out that there are currently 921 people with covid-19 hospitalized in intensive care. Meanwhile, to date there are 17,728 active cases throughout the country. Furthermore, in the last 24 hours 55,398 were performed, with a positivity rate of 2.37%.

The latest deaths correspond to 21 men and 14 women.

Of the 1,314 new infections, 510 are from the province of Buenos Aires, 166 from the city of Buenos Aires, 21 from Catamarca, 15 from Chaco, 17 from Chubut, 90 from Corrientes, 110 from Córdoba, 35 from Entre Ríos, 2 from Formosa, 12 from Jujuy, 20 from La Pampa, 7 from La Rioja, 16 from Mendoza, 1 from Misiones, 12 from Neuquén, 25 from Río Negro, 74 from Salta, 19 from San Juan, 3 from San Luis, 11 from Santa Cruz, 57 from Santa Fe, 12 from Santiago del Estero, 4 from Tierra del Fuego and 75 from Tucumán.
