The Directorate of Civil Protection in Gómez Palacio reports an accumulated 10 millimeters of rainwater from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. this Wednesday, an amount that is within expectations. There are no reports of damage to roads or homes.
José Martínez Mejía, head of Civil Protection, reported that special attention is paid to the Poanas area, affected in August by heavy rains, in order to monitor probable runoff from the Sierra de Mapimí.

He mentioned that the rainfall caused by the passage of the tropical storm “Pamela” through the state, could remain only for this day, since for this Thursday even a sunny day is expected.

Likewise, he commented that light rains are expected for Friday before the departure of the meteorological phenomenon that it has caused damages in other municipalities of the state.
