Tspit of a goal from returning Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United has botched the start of the new Champions League season. At the Swiss champions Young Boys Bern, Manchester lost 1: 2 (1: 0) on Tuesday evening. Jordan Siebatcheu scored the winning goal in stoppage time after a bad pass from Jesse Lingard for the Young Boys, who have been coached by David Wagner since this season (90 + 5 minutes).
Champions League record scorer Ronaldo had scored the first goal of the new season in the premier class (13th). In addition, Ronaldo became a record player with his 177th appearance – on par with his former Real Madrid teammate Iker Casillas.
