MEXICO STATE.- Mariana Martinez Rodriguez, a Dramatic Literature and Theater student at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM, died after the landslide at Cerro del Chiquihuite.

The community and directors of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM they mourned the passing and they expressed solidarity with the student’s family, who died in the Cerro del Chiquihuite landslide.
In the dislocation of Tlalnepantla, “unfortunately the house where our student Mariana Martínez Rodríguez was was affected,” said the teacher and explained that her older sister survived, but is hospitalized.
Unfortunately Mariana did not have the same opportunity – as her sister – and we lost her. We are very affected, “he said.

“Mariana had an enormous desire to learn, her soul was filling with light and now she has merged with the light,” said Nadia González, a teacher at UNAM, a screenwriter for film, theater and TV. He also shared with his students that “we stay in life to do beautiful, happy and beautiful things in honor of Mariana, who remains in our hearts.”

Mariana was buried this Sunday in a cemetery in La Presa, after her body was rescued from the rubble in one of the homes on Club Explorados street in Chimalhuacán, where her sister was found alive; However, rescuers are still looking for a mother and her two small children who would have been under the tons of rocks.
