Brazil has more than 131 million people with full vaccination against Covid

The number of people vaccinated with at least one dose against covid-19 in Brazil reached this Thursday, 25, to 158,447 349, equivalent to 74.28% of the total population. In the last 24 hours, 52 thousand people received the first application of the vaccine, according to data gathered by the consortium of press vehicles with secretariats in 26 states and the Federal District.

Among the more than 158 million vaccinated, 131.64 million are with complete immunization against the coronavirus, which represents 61.72% of the total population. In the last 24 hours, 1.27 million people received the second dose and another 23,100 received a single application immunizer.

This Thursday, another 242.2 thousand people also received the booster dose. In all, 15.28 million Brazilians have already been “revaccinated”.

Adding up all the vaccines applied, Brazil administered 1.59 million doses in the last 24 hours.

São Paulo has 81.37% of the total population vaccinated with at least one dose against the coronavirus, and 74.4% with the complete vaccine scheme (two doses or single application), the most advanced in the country. The highest proportion of fully immunized inhabitants are: Mato Grosso do Sul (69.67%), Rio Grande do Sul (67.24%), Santa Catarina (66.5%) and Paraná (65.41%).
