The Municipality of Bahía Blanca reported this morning 4 new infections of COVID-19 and the same number of recoveries, in a day without a report of deaths and – as yesterday – without patients admitted to intensive care with confirmed coronavirus.
Since the pandemic began, 45,738 cases have been officially registered in the city, of which 33 remain active, 44,811 recovered and 894 died.
In accordance with the data of the Municipality, the daily average of the last 14 days is still 10 infections.

In its first 13 days, 125 infections and 3 deaths were reported, figures very far from those of May of this year, which had the worst numbers: 8,636 cases and 144 deaths.
Regarding the hospital situation, this morning there was an occupation of 23.81% in intensive care, with 20 beds of 84 occupied and – for the second consecutive day – no person hospitalized with confirmed coronavirus, according to the Provincial Management System of Beds.
Since the change in the phase system, Bahia is in the “general”, which has more activities allowed than the other current instance, called “reserve phase”, applied in case of epidemiological alarm.
To go from the general phase to the reserve phase, the city – or any other agglomerate with more than 300,000 people – must have more than 80% of the intensive care beds occupied and also a percentage variation 20% higher than the previous week in hospitalizations in intensive care.
