Baby Shark video is the first YouTube video to exceed 10 billion views

The video titled ‘Baby Shark Dance’ is on track for 10,013,000,000 views from the Pinkfong Baby Shark-Kids’ Songs & Stories channel, at the time of writing. This account currently has 54.8 million subscribers.

This channel of South Korean origin contains other songs that have millions of views. Between them, ‘Monkey Banana-Baby Monkey’ (about 953 million), ‘Baby Shark Dance with Song Puppets’ (835 million) or the version of ‘Baby Shark’ with Luis Fonsi (703 million).

Although the original version of Baby Shark has unseated the Puerto Rican artist and his song ‘Slowly’. This theme, in which he collaborates with Daddy Yankee, was the one that had the first place of the most viewed videos.

Therefore, it is now in second place with almost 7.702 million views, in third place is the children’s song called ‘Johny Johny Yes Papa’ which has 6.101 million views and in fourth place Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ which has almost 5.590 million visits.

This song has become a viral phenomenon thanks to the catchy tune of Korean-American singer Hope Segoine. The video was uploaded to YouTube in June 2016 and, since then, its impact has been growing.
